Technicians and environmental specialists met on Thursday at the Casa del Mar in Puerto de Mazarrón to celebrate an informative day devoted to the detection and protection of sea turtle nesting on the coast of Murcia.

The talk was inaugurated by the general director of the Natural Environment, Consuelo Rosauro and the mayor of Mazarrón, Alicia Jiménez.

Both the general director and the mayor have stressed the importance of an initiative that "aims to produce on our shores continuous nesting of a marine species threatened today."
