The name of Mazarrón will sound again in the world of beach soccer during this weekend.
The bet of the Municipality of Mazarrón, encouraged by the good results of the two local clubs, materializes in facilities that will open on Friday, June 8 with the celebration of the Preliminary Phase of the National League of this sport.
Patricio Sánchez, Councilor for Sports of the City of Mazarrón and Jesús Rosagro, sports director of the Murcia Beach Soccer Federation, have verified the latest work for the development of a field whose characteristics are praised by those who dedicate themselves to this sport.
Sergio Yúfera, of the CD Bala Azul FP, has indicated that the facilities of Mazarrón were on the lips of those who participated in the last international championship held last week in Portugal.
The facilities located in the Sports Complex of Mazarrón belong to a municipal investment resulting from the financing of the Works and Services Plan developed by the Regional Ministry of Finance of the Autonomous Community.
José García, responsible for the Playas de Mazarrón, has also highlighted the importance of facilities that will serve to project the name of the municipality associated with this sport.
The preliminary phase of the National Beach Soccer League will compete with the seven teams that make up the north group: Levante UD SAD, Fc Jove Español, CD Bala Azul, CD Melistar, AIS Playas de San Javier, CF La Nucía and Playas de Mazarron FP.
The first match will take place on Friday at 18:00 and will face the CD Bala Azul and the AIS Playas de San Javier.
