A total of 1,085 schoolchildren of the schools of the municipality have participated in the XXI edition of the Road Education Day organized by the Local Police Department of the City of Mazarrón.
The awards ceremony took place at the Cultural Center of Mazarrón, where these days a sample of models made by students of 5th and 6th grade is exposed.
Almost all the educational centers of the municipality have participated in some days that are promoted in order to disseminate, in a didactic way, good uses and behaviors as well as compliance with traffic regulations from an early age.
In this edition, 252 students of Early Childhood Education (5 years), 496 of 1st and 2nd of Primary and 337 of 5th and 6th of Primary participated.
The organization encourages the creators of the best jobs with vouchers that can be exchanged for school or sports equipment.
The mayor of Mazarrón, Alicia Jiménez, wanted to share with students and teachers the closing of a few days in which it has proceeded to the awards ceremony.
The event was attended by the local police councilor, Isabel María López, the sergeant, Alberto Zomeño and the municipal head of Road Safety, Magdalena Valverde, in addition to two representatives of the Provincial Traffic Headquarters.
The Road Safety Education Days are possible thanks to the collaboration of different companies such as Hortisa, Murseñal and Hijos de Albaladejo García SL among others.
