The municipality will show 10 flags, 8 on beaches and 2 in marinas.

Mazarrón has hosted the ceremony of delivery of blue flags of the Region of Murcia.
The event took place in the Club de Regatas with the assistance of José Ramón Sánchez, president of the Association of Environmental Education and Consumer, Spanish section of the European entity that awards this badge.
The event was also attended by the Minister of Tourism, Miriam Guardiola and the mayor of Mazarrón, Alicia Jiménez, as well as the general directors of Tourism and Port and representatives of other distinguished municipalities.
Alicia Jiménez highlighted in his speech the potential of Mazarrón corroborated by the 10 blue flags that will shine on its coast during the summer, 8 on beaches and 2 in ports.
María Ángeles Román, Councilor for Tourism, has received the flags from the President of Adeac and the Minister of Tourism.
The beaches of the distinguished municipality are: Rihuete, Puerto, Bahia, Nares, Grande-Castellar, Alamillo, El Mojón and Percheles.
In addition also the blue flag will sport the Club of Regatas and the Puerto Deportivo de Mazarron.
During the ceremony, the other 21 blue flags that will flow, in global, in the rest of the municipalities of the Region of Murcia have been delivered.
The badges have been received by representatives of each of the locations.
