The City of Mazarrón has launched a new information campaign, mainly through the method of mail, to make the citizen aware of the importance of collaborating in the prevention of the nesting of the tiger mosquito.

The information provides a series of recommendations:

Avoid containers that may accumulate standing water

Maintain adequate levels of chlorine in pools and rafts

Protect the wells and cisterns with screens and mosquito nets

Monitor drip risk

Pour water into the sinks

Renew water every two or three days

Likewise, this insect is explained about the nature and biology and reminds the campaigns carried out by the City Council in public spaces.
