Pedro Martinez, first deputy mayor and councilor of Culture of the City of Mazarrón and Mercedes Bernabé, director of the International University of the Sea (UNIMAR) have presented the first of the two summer courses that UNIMAR has scheduled in Mazarrón for this month of July, both focused on the current educational models.
The Cultural Center of Mazarrón hosts this Thursday and Friday the training activity entitled Paternal Profiles at Risk of Psychosocial Development.
The course is directed by Carlos Martínez and is aimed at students of Psychology, Pedagogy, Teaching and Social Education, as well as pedagogues, social educators, teachers, psychologists and parents in general.
Among its objectives will be to know the different parental educational styles and their relationship with obtaining success in life career, distinguish educational practices and know the educational implications of poor parental practices in children.
The activity has as a speaker the psychologist Mazarron Higinio González.
The second summer course will take place on July 17, 18 and 19 and will have the title: "Another way of teaching? Yes. Alternative pedagogical models in Infant, Primary and Secondary".
Directed by Elena Macías and Sonia Carrera, it is aimed at professionals from the educational world, as well as future professionals in the sector.
The course is organized in a series of theoretical-practical sessions and round tables in which professors from various universities and various educational centers will provide the tools that allow generating ideas and projects to be transferred to personal practice.
In addition, practical workshops will be held and life experiences will be exhibited so that the students of the course can experiment and value the interest of each one of the methodologies, as well as recognize in which areas they are applicable in the professional activity in the educational centers.
It will take place at the Casa del Mar in Puerto de Mazarrón.
