The next August 9 will take place in Bolnuevo a new gastronomic workshop organized by the associations Columbares and Pescartes in collaboration with the City of Mazarrón.
This is an initiative that defends responsible and artisan fishing that on this occasion will make known the barracuda or spit, seasonal fish in the current month.
The workshop-aimed at people over 16 years old- will take place on Thursday, August 9 from 11:00 to 13:00 in the restaurant IlCapriccio (Av. Pedro López Meca, 36 Bolnuevo, Mazarrón).
The workshop is free, but requires prior registration by writing an email before August 7 to pesca@columbares.org, indicating name and surname, age, email address and contact number of each participant.
'Pescados con arte' wants to value the marine reserves of fishing interest as the most effective management tools for the regeneration of fishing resources and the conservation of marine biodiversity, focusing efforts on the marine reserves of Cabo de Palos-Islas Hormigas, Cabo Tiñoso and Cabo de Gata-Níjar and Natura 2000 network areas of the project scope.
The project 'Fish with Art' has the support of the Biodiversity Foundation of the Ministry for the Ecological Transition, through the High-Level Program of the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund, in collaboration with the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation.
In addition, the project has the support of the University of Murcia, the Amurecoy Fornet Association. For this activity, the project also has the collaboration of the City of Mazarrón and the restaurant IlCapriccio.
