Joaquín Ruiz García has presented a work in Casas Consitoriales, edited by the City Council of Mazarrón, which delves into the biodemogafía of the Mazarron.
Under the title 'Marriages and Surnames.
Biography of Mazarrón in the seventeenth century, the author analyzes the local society through marriage links that occurred at a time not very studied in local history, since most of the similar studies are focused on the century XIX coinciding with the mining splendor.
Pedro Martinez, Councilor for Culture, highlighted during the presentation "the valuable contribution that a rigorous and innovative work that deepens in an important time for the further development of the municipality."
The presentation was attended by the Official Cronista of Villa Mariano Guillén.
The book will be available soon in municipal public libraries.
