Alicia Jiménez has shown her commitment of collaboration to representatives of the Association of Animal Protection of Mazarrón (APROAMA) during the meeting held in municipal offices.

In the aforementioned meeting it was agreed to support from the City Council the information awareness campaigns launched by this new association.

One of the main objectives of APROAMA is to reduce the numbers of abandonment of domestic animals that occur in the municipality.

"It is important to remember and report on the guidelines to follow," says Aroa López, president of the association, from which they also plan to give lectures in institutes on responsible ownership of domestic animals.
