A total of 197 students have completed their training in swimming courses organized by the Sports Department of the City of Mazarrón.
The mayor, Alicia Jiménez, has handed out the diplomas to the participants of the last group of an activity, divided into three shifts, which began on July 2.
Of the total number of students, 177 were children from 3 to 15 years old who have attended the learning and improvement classes, while 20 users have been adults who enrolled in the maintenance courses.
Alicia Jiménez, has encouraged to continue participating in an activity that has been carried out for three years at the facilities of the Siglo XXI School in Puerto de Mazarrón, the result of an agreement with the educational center.
The mayor recalled that a project to build two swimming pools in the Sports Complex of the Media Legua is underway.
The mayor has been accompanied by the Councilor for Sports, Patricio Sánchez.
