This Friday, September 7, 2,948 school classes have started in the ten Infant and Primary schools of the municipality, 27 more children than in the previous school year.

In detail, there are 916 children in Primary 2010 and 22 in the open classroom.

In a global number, the Manuela Romero schools in Puerto de Mazarrón (500) and Infanta Leonor in Mazarrón (458) have a larger number of places.

In Puerto de Mazarrón, Miguel Delibes and Bahia have 351 and 234 students enrolled and the XXI Century, 203. In Mazarrón, Francisco Caparrós has 404 places, La Aceña, 220, La Cañadica 223 and Ginés García 227. Also, the school San Antonio de Cañada de Gallego has 128 schoolchildren.
