The moments before the second match at home of the season of Mazarrón FC after his return to the Third Division were lived this Sunday in a special way.
The mayor of Mazarrón, Alicia Jiménez, discovered next to Pedro Méndez the plaque that shows the new denomination of the Municipal Stadium that, after unanimous agreement in the Ordinary Plenary of the past month of June, happened to be called 'Municipal Stadium Pedro Méndez Méndez'.
In this way, a designation that recognizes the figure of who was a field delegate, in charge of material and maintenance of the Mazarrón FC was materialized.
Méndez showed his involvement with the club from the age of 15, being recognized over the years by different management teams and staff.
In an altruistic way, Pedro Méndez continues to collaborate as manager and delegate of field maintenance, enjoying the victories of his team.
The Mazarrón FC has returned this season to the Third National Division playing in Group XIII, achievement for which the team was also honored before the start of the match that faced the team led by Juanjo Asensio with the Olympic Totana and ended with victory for the locals by 2 to 1.
