The artist Daniel Parra taught during the weekend an urban acrylic painting workshop that gathered in Mazarrón a fortnight of students from throughout the Region of Murcia and the province of Alicante.
From Friday, the participants began and deepened both the pictorial technique and the subject, working especially the theory of perspective.
In the session on Friday, Daniel Parra offered a theoretical session, where the students held their first exercise in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento.
On Saturday morning, attendees enjoyed a masterclass.
Daniel Parra chose the Ramón y Cajal square to paint one of the most representative places in the urban center of Mazarrón, the Church of San Andrés and its surroundings.
During the third day, the participants started and finished their own works selecting different points of the old town (Plaza del Ayuntamiento, Plaza Ramón y Cajal, Calle Comandantes Sánchez ...).
Daniel Parra Lozano is a recognized artist with nearly 300 national and international awards in the categories of painting, drawing, comics and illustration.
He has worked as a freelance illustrator for important advertising agencies in Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia.
