On September 8, in the Toledo town of Cebolla there was a strong flood of the Sangüesa stream due to the accumulation of heavy rainfall.
As a result, the municipal library only managed to save 2,000 of the 12,000 books it had in its bibliographic collection.
To alleviate this important cultural loss suffered by the town, the City of Mazarrón, through the Department of Libraries, has decided to donate a selection of books on children and youth.
The delivery will be formalized by the Regional Library of Murcia, from where the donations that come from the whole Community are centralized.
The call of the onion librarian for, through the donation, they were returning the funds has had a great response throughout Spain.
On September 19, more than 5,000 donated books were counted.
