The Puerto de Mazarrón, for the third consecutive year will host, on October 6 and 7, the King's Cup of water bikes, as well as the last scoring event for the Spanish championship, with most of the titles in play at stake. the different modalities.
To the specialties of Circuit, Rallyjet and Offshore must be added the Flisky competition, with the King's Cup in play, which will be held simultaneously to the traditional ones to keep the attention of the public at all times.
The circuit test will take place during the day on Saturday at the Puerto beach, next to the marina.
The Rallyjet and Ofshore on Sunday, based on the same beach.
Participants in the Flysky modality will contest their competition taking advantage of the rest and intervals of the previous tests and, also, in the facilities of the yacht club.
The mayor of Mazarrón, Alicia Jiménez;
along with the general director of Sports, Alonso Gómez;
the president of the Spanish Motonautics Federation, José Miguel Martínez;
the president of the Federación Murciana de Motonáutica, Dionisio Baño;
and the president of the Yacht Club, Juan Marín, presented the test last week at the place where it will be held.
According to Alicia Jiménez, Mazarrón is interested in boosting water sports that, "fortunately, can be practiced throughout the year, thus promoting seasonality."
For their part, the presidents of the federations said they were very grateful to the institutional collaboration and the management of the marina, and added that they are delighted with the test stage and with the reception of the public.
They confirmed the attendance of more than 70 pilots coming from all over Spain and, even, some arrived from neighboring Portugal, promising a great sporting spectacle that will put the icing on the best acrobats of the Spanish Flysky.
