Casas Consistoriales began last Friday its autumn season of exhibitions with a joint exhibition of the authors Manuel Castillero and Cristóbal Hernández Barbero.
The event that served to open the cultural season in Mazarrón was attended by Mayor Alicia Jiménez, who highlighted "the commitment to Culture that makes a City Council whose purpose is the deseasonalization of tourism, organizing activities throughout the year "
Jiménez admired the work of the two leading artists of the night and encouraged Mazarron and visitors to visit Casas Consistoriales to appreciate the work of both.
The inaugurated exhibitions are entitled 'Reclaimed places' and 'La llama azul'.
In the first one, the Cordovan author, Manuel Castillero, offers a work that reflects his own style with the urban landscape as motive and focused on common geographic enclaves for the general public.
A narrative background removes the viewer during the visit.
While in the second, Hernández Barbero offers a high plastic expressiveness that does not leave the visitor indifferent.
'Reclaimed places' can be visited on the second floor of Casas Consistoriales and 'La llama azul' in the basements.
Both samples will remain open until November 3.
They can be visited on Mondays and Tuesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from Wednesday to Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The building will be closed on October 12 and 27.
