Numerous public presence next to the Puerto Deportivo motorcycle competition and aerobatic flights of the Flysky Spain Championship |
The beach of the Paseo Marítimo, next to the Marina, hosted the celebration of the King's Cup of jet skis, as well as the last round of the Spanish championship.
Almost a hundred participants, coming from all over Spain, enjoyed their favorite sport in a unique environment for the practice of water sports.
During the day of Saturday the circuit test was held, competing a total of fifteen races in a course that, delimited by buoys, ran in front of the beach of the marina.
In the Ski Junior category, the first three classified were: Quico Aguilera, Joan Sevil and Esteban Díaz;
in Ski GP3, Roger Pujol was the first classified, followed by Quico Aguilera and Joan Sevil.
In Ski GP1, Carlos Vela was the winner, the runner-up was Roger Pujol and in third place Jordi Tomás Jiménez.
In the Spark Junior category the winner was Joan Sevil, followed by Eduardo Botías and Juan Carlos Martín.
In Spark, the three first classified were Ismael Rojas, Alejandro Artiñano and Cristina García.
The Sport G2 category was dominated by David Rodríguez, Alberto Moncayo and Jesús Carvajal.
And in Sport G1, the winners were Oscar Justo, José Manuel Cruzado and David Gallegos.
In the GP2 category, the winner was Ismael Rojas, followed by Víctor Jiménez and Francisco Prieto.
Finally, in the category of the most powerful motorcycles, the first classified was Ismael Rojas, in second position Victo Jiménez concluded and the third place was occupied by Alejandro Molina.
At the same time, in the interior of the Marina the preliminaries of the Cup of the King of Flyski were celebrated, which had its final day during the day of Sunday in the same place.
This acrobatic modality is attracting more and more followers and the level of the participants clearly increases.
Mazarrón hosted the last Championship of Spain and has returned to be the perfect place for another national championship.
The winners were, Cristina Rodríguez, as first classified, Mika Ursu, second, and María José Martínez, in third place.
In the men's category, the winner was Alberto Leceta, followed by Enrique Soriano and David Peretra.
During the day of Sunday, the modalities of Jet Rally and Off Shore were disputed.
The first was played in a wide circuit delimited by four buoys and divided into two stages of 25 minutes each.
The winners were, in GP2, Francisco Prieto, followed by Juan Manuel Cuevas and Víctor Jiménez.
In GP1, the first classified was Andoni Gutiérrez, in second place Aitzol Araquistain arrived and the third place was occupied by Eduardo Balechí.
And to conclude, the most demanding test, Off shore.
Leaving the beach of the marina, the pilots flew over their bikes until they reached the Santa Elena tower in La Azohía, where they turned again heading to the port beach in Mazarrón and made the trip three times.
The good condition of the sea led to a very rapid test reaching very high speeds the most powerful bikes.
Juan José Romero was the winner in GP2, followed by Juan Manuel Cuevas and Antonio Melis.
In the GP1 queen category, the first classified was Andoni Gutiérrez, the second was Eduardo Belchí and he completed the Aitzol Araquistain podium.
The awards were presided over by the Councilor for Sports, Patricio Sánchez;
the president of the Spanish Motonautics Federation, José Miguel Martínez;
the president of the Federation of Motonautics of the Region of Murcia, Dionisio Baño, and by the president of Puerto Deportivo de Puerto de Mazarrón, Juan Marín.
All of them showed their satisfaction for the influx of people that attracted the test, registering a great movement of visitors in the locality.
For their part, the leaders of the federations said they were very happy for the success of the event and grateful for the welcome, for the place and for the collaboration of the City Council and the Marina.
