The students of Mazarrón will travel to the neighboring country in the month of April |
A total of 36 French students spend a few days during this month of October in homes of Mazarrón, fruit of an exchange with the IES Domingo Valdivieso.
These are students of 14 years of the Collège La Tourett of the city of Lyon.
The expedition has been received by the councilors of Education and Culture, Patricio Sánchez and Pedro Martínez, in Casas Consistoriales.
In the emblematic municipal building the students have known the history of Mazarrón.
The students of the IES Domingo Valdivieso will complete the exchange during the next month of April.
The French teacher has commented in her visit the high interest that there is in her center to come to Mazarrón to be able to practice the Castilian, language of obligatory study in the centers of education of her country.
The students have received as a gift a backpack with tourist information of the municipality.
The mayor Pedro Martínez has invited them to return to Mazarrón with their families in future occasions.
