'Mazarrón Film Survival' turned the municipality, over the past weekend, into a meeting point for fans of the world of cinema.
5 shooting teams with participants from Andalusia, Madrid, Comunidad Valenciana and Murcia gathered at a contest that marks the challenge of shooting and editing a short film in 45 hours.
The event, organized by the Filmurray production company with the collaboration of the Department of Culture, fulfilled the expectations created despite the weather conditions.
The filming teams looked for indoor locations such as the food market in Puerto de Mazarrón, the fishing pier market or the Casa del Mar.
The winner of this last edition was Twin Freaks for his short titled 'Instinct'.
Pedro Martinez, Councilor for Culture, proceeded to award prizes.
The contest was completed with a wide agenda of activities at the Cultural Center of Mazarrón.
The event served to project the short film resulting from the work of the film workshop taught in Mazarrón by Benito Rabal.
