The Ornithological Cultural Association of Mazarrón in collaboration with the Department of Culture of the City of Mazarrón and the Popular University organizes the Ornithological Contest Villa de Mazarrón.
Pedro Martinez, Councilor for Culture of the City of Mazarrón, opened on Thursday the sample of 300 copies that houses the exhibition hall of the Cultural Center of Mazarrón.
Until Sunday families can visit this room, during the opening hours of the Cultural Center.
On Sunday, October 28 at 5:00 pm, the closing ceremony will be held in which the most valued horses will be awarded.
Francisco Aznar, representative of the Ornithological Cultural Association of Mazarrón, recommended the visit to a contest in which curious birds and breeding specimens will be highly valued.
The Ornithological Cultural Association of Mazarrón was created two years ago and now has about 40 members.
The ornithological hobby in the municipality comes from several decades ago and among those who were dedicated to it was Mariano Faura Bernal, an ornithologist who died last August and to whom the contest is dedicated in memoriam.
