Thousands of pilgrims accompanied the Purísima Concepción this Sunday on their return to the hermitage of Bolnuevo.
The multitudinous act with which the Fiestas del Milagro ends is counted this time with the presence of the president of the Autonomous Community, Fernando López Miras and the Government delegate in Murcia, Diego Conesa.
The mayor of Mazarrón, Alicia Jiménez, accompanied the image of the Purísima from the church of San Andrés to her hermitage.
The popular pilgrimage fulfilled its traditional stops between trovos and songs to the Virgin.
One of these stops had the stage, as usual, the desalination plant Virgen del Milagro.
After the mass on the beach and the definitive transfer of the Purísima Concepción, the pilgrimage culminated with the traditional moragas and barbecues on the beach of Bolnuevo.
The City Council provided a bus service this year with schedules from early morning and during the afternoon, in order to facilitate travel.
