Gastrogallo will offer a selection of the best of local gastronomy from December 6 to 9 (26/11/2018)

On Monday the fourth edition of gAstrogAllo was presented in Murcia, a gastronomic event that will host the Market of the Cresta del Gallo de Mazarrón from December 6 to 9.

The mayor of Mazarrón, Alicia Jiménez, has invited all Murcia to visit Mazarrón during the next festive bridge to meet a consolidated gastronomic appointment, framed within the schedule of the Festivities in honor of the Purísima Concepción.

"It is a gastronomic event that has been making a dent in the gastronomic scene of the Region of Murcia, where names of the cuisine have passed, such as Pablo González Conejero, Javier de Andrés, Samuel Ruiz, Andrés Mármol or our mazarronera, Mari Cruz García Since its inception, gAstrogAllo has received a high social interest and a projection that has grown with the passage of the different editions, "said Alicia Jiménez, who has anticipated the return to this gastronomic event of Javier de Andrés, prestigious Valencian chef with two Michelin Stars achieved in 2005 and 2008. De Andrés will be the chef who values ​​the best tapa of those presented at the event.

13 tapas and 2 pastry shops

13 restoration establishments will participate in gAstrogAllo 2.3.

11 stores will be dedicated to tapas 2 to pastry.

Of the 11 places dedicated to tapas, 9 are from the municipality of Mazarrón: Fizz, La Perra Chica, La Sal, La Meseguera, La Inesperada, D'Tapas, New Bodeguita, Outdated and Time to Eat.

The invited restaurants are Eszencia de Pablo Martínez and El Pollo Rockero.

The premises dedicated to baking will be: La Canela and Amorina Pastry.

The participating establishments will present three tapas a day, one will be presented for evaluation during the fair and the other two may vary.

The tapas will be tasted by the large public that will visit the facilities of the Cresta del Gallo Market again.

Pablo Martínez and El Pollo rockero, guest rooms

On this occasion, gAstrogAllo will have two invited venues: Eszencia restaurant by Pablo Martínez from Cartagena and El Pollo Rockero by chef José Alberto del Cerro, from Javalí Nuevo.

Pablo Martínez is a Superior Restoration Technician at the Escuela Superior de Hostelería de Cartagena and has extensive experience in more than a dozen prestigious restaurants and has worked with great masters of cuisine such as Alfonso Ortega.

José Albero del Cerro, is the chef of the Pollo Rockero restaurant that has its location in Javalí Nuevo.

After traveling a lot and learning wherever it was, he launched a successful project, bringing a new vision to the offer of hospitality in the Region.

A before and after in the Patron Saint Festival

Patricio Sánchez, councilman of Celebrations, has highlighted the importance of an event that marked since its creation a before and after in the future of the Patron Saint Festivities of Mazarrón.

Gastrogallo, for four years, has been reinforcing the broad agenda of activities that the Department of Celebrations has scheduled for you to enjoy both Mazarron and visitors from December 29 to October 11.

The mayor of Mazarrón has detailed the set of musical, cultural and liturgical events.

Patricio Sánchez also recalled that the gastronomic offer is completed during the patron festivals with the Ruta de la Tapa and the participation of nine other establishments of Mazarrón.
