Mazarrón already has his new Queen of the Holidays.

Vaiva Visockaite of 18 years happened on the throne to Estefanía Graciela Granda after the celebration of a gala that was presented by the actress Neus Sanz with Diego Jiménez, director and scriptwriter of the event with a theatrical staging.

Eight lady candidates aspired to the crown Queen of the Patron Saint Festivities 2018: Estela Gracia Soto, from Puerto de Mazarrón representing the Nati Oliva Chiringuito, Saray Fernández Cifuentes, from Mazarron representing Discu Pub MV, María del Carmen Bienvengut Alcalá, from Puerto de Mazarrón representing Café Quedate, Yasmin Khatimi Sánhez, from Mazarrón on behalf of Ángel Heladería, Marina Martínez Moreno, from Mazarrón representing Restaurante El Mata, Blanca Hidalgo Párraga, from Puerto de Mazarrón representing Bar Jade, Nuria Moulay Adán, from Puerto de Mazarrón on behalf of Dicoteca Imagine and Vaiva Visockaite, from Mazarrón on behalf of Pub La Sal.

The jury to determine the election was composed by Juan José Ferrer, criminal lawyer and coach, Virginia Espejo, surveyor, draftsman and technician of Industrial and Interior Design, Mariano García, musician, composer and photographer specialized in artistic environments, Antonio Marín, international consultant of marketing and art critic, Iván García, artistic manager and advertising promoter, José Javier Gordillo, professional stylist and Neus Sanz, actress.

The gala counted with the animation of the ballet of the School of Dance of Antonio Jara and after the pertinent parades the moment of the final decision arrived.

Previously the councilman of Celebrations, Patricio Sanchez and the mayor of Mazarrón, Alicia Jiménez, addressed a few words to the public present in the tent of the fairgrounds.

Vaiva Visockaite received the crown of the queen band from the outgoing queen, Estefanía Graciela Granda, to be from that moment a new Queen of the Festivities that together with the seven ladies will be present at the many events of the festive program will extend until next Sunday December 9.
