Carmen Castillo, technician of the General Directorate of Women, presented on Monday in Mazarrón the guide '' Teach me to love ', aimed at families of young people and adolescents, with the aim of preventing, detecting and acting in cases of gender violence.

This presentation was attended by the mayor of Mazarrón, Alicia Jiménez, Councilor for Education, Patricio Sánchez and the municipal responsible for CAVI, Rosa Jorquera.

The mayor stressed the need to sensitize younger generations about behaviors that can lead to acts that deserve the rejection of society.

From the General Directorate of Women and Equal Opportunities, the Ministry of Family said that it is a fact that gender violence also occurs in adolescence and that is why it is essential to provide families or legal representatives with information and guidance that will serve as tools to act in these cases or prevent them, since the family is the first socializing agent and educator.
