7 floats will enter contest |
A total of 14 floats are scheduled to participate on Sunday December 9 in the traditional parade of floats on the occasion of the Patron Saint Festivities of Mazarron that will start at 11:00 am.
The itinerary that the participating groups will follow will depart from Antonio Machado street, continue along La Vía street, to continue on San Pascual street and finish at the junction of this street with Avenida de la Constitución.
Mazarron and visitors can enjoy a parade of great eye-catching that will open a sample of classic vehicles, followed by a platform representative of the Mazarrón Carnival.
Seven floats enter the competition this year: Antonio Jara Dance School, De Rosa Dance School, Juan Antonio Iglesias Dance School, Manuela Romero CEIP AMPA, Acepa CEIP, Acepa CEIP Francisco Caparrós and Peña La Atalaya.

After the completion of the parade, the awards ceremony will take place at the Tent of the Day Fair on Avenida de la Constitución.
The prizes will be 1,500 euros for the winner, 1,000 euros for the second, 500 euros for the third and 400 euros for the fourth, fifth and sixth.
In 2017 the winning chariot was the De Rosa Dance School.
