This week the work of renovation of the drinking water network in a section of the Villarico street of Los Alumbres in Mazarrón has begun.
The existing network was presenting continuous problems of breakdowns that have led to numerous repairs in recent years. The action will consist of the installation of about 160 m of ductile cast iron pipe of 150 mm in diameter, its connection with the rest of existing pipes in the area, the installation of 4 sectioning valves, the renewal of 6 connections and the replacement of the firm in the affected area.
The works, requested by the City Council, are being executed by the General Directorate of Water of the CARM at the request of this City Council, involves an investment of about 45,000 euros and provides a deadline of about two weeks.
