Improvement works

Last December, work began on the renewal of the drinking water network on a stretch of Villaricos street in Los Alumbres in Mazarrón.

The existing network was presenting continuous problems of breakdowns that have led to numerous repairs in recent years. The action will consist of the installation of about 160 m of ductile cast iron pipe of 150 mm in diameter, its connection with the rest of existing pipes in the area, the installation of 4 sectioning valves, the renewal of 6 connections and the replacement of the firm in the affected area.

The works, requested by the City Council, are being executed by the General Directorate of Water of the CARM at the request of this City Council, is an investment of about 45,000 euros.
