The Popular University of Mazarrón will offer in the first semester of 2019 something more than 40 new courses divided into five areas.
The offer has been presented by its director, José María López, in the company of the mayor of Mazarrón, Alicia Jiménez and the councilor of Culture, Pedro Martínez.
The training period will begin on February 4 and end on May 31.
Registrations can be formalized from January 28.
There will be discounts of 15% for large and retired families and 20% for unemployed.
The areas in which the offer is divided are: IT and business, languages, education, creativity and well-being and new features are included for this year as a course on parental control and social networks, computer science for children, robotics and programming or art workshop among others.
Likewise, the extension of training in districts is maintained, specifically in Camposol with the Spanish courses for foreigners.
The publicity of the courses will be available in the coming days, as indicated by the director of the Popular University, José María López.
The mayor, Alicia Jiménez, has encouraged the Mazarron to participate in this training offer that goes out after a temporary parenthesis "motivated by the adaptation of the procedures to the new contracting regulations."
Jiménez has highlighted the effort and work of the technicians and officials "that in collaboration with the government team have managed to lay a foundation that will streamline the bids from now on already adapted to the new regulations."
