The City Council of Mazarrón, Mazarrón Caritas and Puerto, Nuevo Rumbo, Aspadem and the Pensioners Club have renewed the agreement that allows the Consistory to provide different amounts for these Social Services associations provide their services to users and people in need.
In total, the City invests for this purpose the amount of 30,600 euros.
The mayor of Mazarrón, Alicia Jiménez, has signed with her signature the agreement that allows Aspadem, Cáritas, Nuevo Rumbo and the Pensioners Club to develop different activities for the needy and elderly.
The signing, which took place in the offices of the City Hall, was attended by Laura Ortiz, Councilor for Social Policy, of the parish priest of Mazarrón, Antonio José Martínez, representing Cáritas, Juan Zamora for Aspadem, Alfonso Santiago for Nuevo Rumbo and Juan Pérez for the Pensioners Club of Mazarrón.
Aspadem receives an annual subsidy of 12,000 euros for activities related to the maintenance of the facilities of the therapeutic pool, Nuevo Rumbo, 3,300 euros for the development of activities to help people in need, as well as Cáritas Puerto and Cáritas Mazarrón, who receive each 4,650 euros.
For its part, the Pensioners Club of Mazarrón receives 6,000 euros for the development of cultural activities, sports and physical maintenance of the elderly in the center.
