The Hall of Town Hall Meetings hosted this Friday the ceremony of awarding diplomas and recognition to the participants of the IV Route of Bethlehem and other activities scheduled by the City last Christmas.
Almost all the participants of the Route of Bethlehem, representatives of the Cuadrilla de Las Balsicas and the Maestro Eugenio Calderón Musical Association were recognized by the mayor Alicia Jiménez and the councilman of Culture, Pedro Martínez, on behalf of the Consistory.
The Bethlehem Route was born on Christmas 2015 with the idea of ​​promoting the tradition inherited among generations of Mazarron to put the Nativity scene and also project the work behind many of the births that are displayed in the town during the holidays .
In the last edition, 10 cribs participated, six in Mazarrón and four in Puerto de Mazarrón, thus offering a route to discover for neighbors and visitors.
The nativity scenes participating last Christmas were: Mariana Blaya, Mari Carmen Moreno, Nursing Home, Day Center of Mazarrón, Francisco Méndez, Alfonso Hernández Campillo, Alberto Martínez Avilés, Parish of San José, Social Center for the Elderly Puerto de Mazarrón and Anju.
