The experience of the Constitutional Olympiad promoted by the City of Mazarrón and the University of Murcia during the academic year 2017/2018 extends to other municipalities in the Region, which is now being promoted by the Autonomous Community.
The Hall of Degrees of the Faculty of Law was the chosen stage for the presentation of this initiative in which 26 educational centers will participate in order to put in value the Constitution of 1978. On behalf of the City Council attended the Councilor for Culture of the City Council of Mazarrón, Pedro Martínez.
Last year the activity counted with the participation of 300 students of 4th of ESO from the 4 secondary schools of Mazarrón: IES Felipe II of Mazarrón, IES Domingo Valdivieso de Mazarrón, Antonio Hellín IES Coast of Puerto de Mazarrón and Concert School 21st century of Puerto de Mazarrón.
The experience was completed with great success and very applauded by the educational community.
Two phases were carried out, an internal one in each center and a final phase with the 16 best students that was celebrated in the Cultural Center of Mazarrón on April 20.
After the test, the IES Felipe II obtained the victory in the modality of centers.
Nerea Fernández (IES Felipe II) is the winner in the individual category.
Yannele Philip (IES Felipe II), second classified and Juana Ibáńez (IES Domingo Valdivieso), third All of them were distinguished at the awards ceremony that took place last June at this Law School.
