The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia has developed the operation 'Cinnamon', aimed at clarifying a robbery with violence and intimidation committed in Mazarrón, which has been settled with the identification, location, detention and subsequent judicial disposal of the alleged perpetrator of the criminal act.
The events took place, a few days ago, when a woman walking on a street in the urban area of ​​Mazarrón was assaulted by an individual.
Apparently, the woman was returning on foot to her home after her work day when the author, after performing a discreet follow-up to his target, took advantage of an area with little traffic and little visibility to commit the crime.
Using a knife, apparently a knife, intimidated the victim until he managed to snatch some of his personal effects, including his mobile phone.
Effective Prevention of Citizen Security of the Benemérita, after collecting the complaint of the facts, initiated the corresponding investigation in order to identify and arrest the alleged perpetrator of the robbery, and thus clarify the criminal act.
The Civil Guards made numerous inquiries to try to identify the perpetrator, obtaining certain indications that pointed to a resident in the town that could be found after the authorship of the crime investigated.
Once all the necessary evidence has been obtained, the Civil Guard established a search device that has culminated in the location, arrest and subsequent judicial disposal of the suspect, as alleged perpetrator of robbery with violence and intimidation.
The Moroccan detainee, 35 years old, resident in Mazarrón and with a police record and the diligences instructed have been made available to the Court of Instruction of Totana (Murcia).
