The mayor of Mazarrón, Alicia Jiménez and the councilman of Services, Domingo Hernández, have presented the new cleaning contract signed by the municipal company Bay of Mazarrón that began its activity on March 1.
Mayor and councilor have verified in situ in the human and technical deployment of a new service that reinforces the current one.
22 people, 3 sweeping machines, a wash truck, another bag collector and cleaning trolleys will reinforce the cleaning service carried out in the municipality of Mazarrón City Hall in winter.
Alicia Jiménez has highlighted the relevance of an action that begins now and whose file was initiated a year and a half ago.
Both the mayor and Councilman Domingo Hernandez have stressed that this reinforcement will go to Puerto de Mazarrón, urbanizations, Alamillo and Bolnuevo will allow to dedicate exclusively during the winter months to Mazarrón and districts to the current staff and machinery of Bay of Mazarrón.
The contract, signed with the company 'Actúa', will be two years long with one of extension for 2,400,000 euros.
