The exhibition hall of the Popular University in Mazarrón has hosted the VIII edition of the International Meeting of the Mediterranean 'Phicaria', which on this occasion was entitled 'The city lived on the shores of the Mediterranean: a vision in time'.
The appointment was inaugurated by the mayor of Mazarrón, Alicia Jiménez, along with the director of the International University of the Sea, Mercedes Bernabé.
The meeting is organized by the International University of the Sea in collaboration with the Popular University and the Municipality of Mazarrón.
The meeting, directed by Sebastián Federico Ramallo and Milagros Ros, is aimed especially at professors, researchers and university students of History, Archeology, Engineering, Economy, Marine Ecology, Geopolitics and Tourism, as well as teachers of Secondary Education.
Experts from different Spanish and European universities have presented their different studies related to a subject framed in the field of scientific research.
Phicaria aims to be a meeting space, as well as facilitate the updating of the latest knowledge in the subject and create a space for reflection and debate.
