Ecoembes and City Council began this Saturday the campaign 'Recycle, Think with the Lungs', initiative that aims to promote recycling in a didactic way in the weekly markets of Mazarrón and Puerto during the months of March and April.

The mayor, Alicia Jiménez and the Councilor for Services, Domingo Hernández, visited the stand, which informs residents of the need to recycle with the priority objective of preserving the environment.

Activities for children and young people and the distribution of a recycling bag are some of the tasks carried out by the personnel in charge of this information point.

Last year Mazarrón recycled 380,000 kilos, a figure that places the municipality above the regional average.
