Doctor in Geography, Daniel Moreno deepens, in this publication, the evolution of one of the most productive sectors of the municipality.
Divided into five chapters, the book makes a geographical description of the Bay of Mazarrón, notes notes for the study of fishing in the municipality, analyzes the sector and heritage linked to the sea and fishing in Mazarrón and ends with a series of proposals for the dissemination of maritime culture.
The mayor of Mazarrón, Alicia Jiménez, stressed "the importance of a publication dedicated exclusively to the municipality in which not only valuable information is collected from the fishing sector but also points out details for the adaptation and the projection of the same in the cultural field and tourist".
The publication, edited by the City of Mazarrón, has been prefaced by Ramón García Marín, professor of Human Geography at the University of Murcia.
