During these months a Municipal Project against School Absenteeism is being carried out in Mazarrón.
It is aimed at children between 12 and 16 years old and is carried out at the IES Antonio Hellín in Puerto de Mazarrón and Felipe II in Mazarrón.
The program is financed with funds from the European Union, amounting to € 7,826 through the General Directorate of Attention to Diversity and Educational Quality.
This project, which runs until July, contemplates actions aimed at the prevention, monitoring and control of school absenteeism.
It also includes activities in Secondary schools.
The activities are aimed at minors, and both they and their families will benefit, the educational center itself being in charge of deriving interventions from those minors who present disruptive behaviors that present or may generate situations of absenteeism.
