On May 15 the City of Mazarrón, through the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries, presented the project of adaptation of the unitary school of Bolnuevo, currently in disuse, for the construction of a municipal building that will house an Interpretation Center of Sea, justifying its location given the seafaring tradition of this district.
The project, approved in 2018, is part of the call for grants from the Galpemur local action group.
Alicia Jiménez, Acting Mayor, has visited the facilities in which two open-plan rooms are contemplated on the ground floor for the use of public activities and / or social and cultural interest.
The first floor would be dedicated to visitors to admire the tradition, history and marine culture of the town of Mazarrón.
