This Wednesday has been signed the act of verification of redefinition of the works of phase 1 of the municipal pool discovered in the Sports Complex.
The action, which will have a term of execution of 8 months, consists of the construction of two vessels, one polyvalent of 25 x 16.5 m and another of 16.5 x 6 meters.
During her visit to the facilities, Alicia Jiménez, acting mayor, highlighted "the importance of a work that provides a service to the citizens of Mazarrón".
Alicia Jiménez has confirmed that this summer will be the last in which the agreement for municipal education that has signed with the 21st century school is developed.
The swimming pools of the Sports Complex will be the new location of the current courses as well as future programmed activities.
In addition, the facilities will have open living areas annexed to the previous ones and a building destined for changing rooms that will house: lobby, reception, first-aid kit, changing rooms, toilets, storage room and facilities room.
The total area will be 388.80 m2 and built of 465.30 m2.
The works also include the construction of a cafeteria bar that will provide service to the users of the swimming pools and the rest of the users of the Sports Complex, with a constructed area of ​​285.20 m2.
The total amount of adjudication of the works will be 1,095,318.80 euros, plus 230.16.95 euros of VAT.
