The Plenary of the City of Mazarrón approved yesterday various aspects related to the operation of the town hall for the current term.
Among them, the remuneration of the government team was approved with the 11 votes in favor of PSOE and UIDM, 2 abstentions of Citizens that gave a vote of confidence to the new team for the good work that is being carried out during the first days of the legislature. and 6 votes against, 6 of the PP and 1 of Vox that he wanted to clarify that it was not a vote against distrust, because his spokesman considers that it has started on the right foot although increasing salaries is an unpopular measure.
The mayor of Mazarrón, Gaspar Miras, explained that "we will work from the responsibility of managing budgets" and, in the face of criticism of a salary increase with respect to the previous term, he added that "this rise with a Good management does not imply an important cost, but rather a dignification of our rewards ".
In this sense, Miras explained that "we can show that we have reduced spending in some actions that is precisely a greater saving than the aforementioned increase." In a week of management, for example, we have saved 5,000 euros and this, as of other aspects, we are going to give account with a plan of transparency that we are planning ".
The plenary session of the delegated councils among the ediles belonging to the government team and mayoral tenures was also reported.
Thus, Ginés Campillo will be first deputy mayor.
Plácida Gómez is the second deputy mayor.
The third deputy mayor falls to Tomás Ureña, while Miguel Ángel Peña will be fourth deputy mayor.
Finally, Jose María Moreno and Raquel Raja will hold the fifth and sixth mayoral tenure respectively.
All of them, together with the mayor of the MI City Council of Mazarrón, Gaspar Miras;
Shall form the Local Government Board.
The posts and characteristics of the temporary staff for the current legislature were also approved with 12 votes in favor of PSOE, UIDM and Vox;
2 abstentions of Citizens and 6 votes against the PP.
Regarding the informative commissions, the following have been created:
Special informative Commission of Accounts.
Informative Commission on Urban Planning, Transport, Tourism, Coastal Services, Agriculture, Fisheries, Rural Development, Environment and Services.
Informative Commission of Treasury, Collection and Contracting.
Informative Commission on Social Policy, Culture, Historical Heritage, Education, Youth, Celebrations and Sports.
Informative Commission of Administrative Organization, Internal Regime, Health, Municipal Emergency Service and Local Police.
Informative Commission of Commerce, Consumption and Denomination of Public Spaces.
Information Commission for Decentralization, Camposol, Puerto and Pedanías.
The Plenary was also informed of the composition of the political parties, as well as their respective spokesmen;
account of the municipal representatives in the governing board of the consortium for the Management of Solid Waste in the Region of Murcia, in the consortium of Fire and Rescue Extinction of the Region of Murcia, in the Red Cross committee, in the commission of monitoring of the water supply service, in the governing board of the Popular University Board and in the governing council of the Local Development agency.
The celebration of the ordinary plenary sessions does not suffer modification, being approved its realization the last Tuesday of every month from the 19 hours during the summer time and from the 20 hours during the winter time.
