The district of Ifre-Pastrana begins this Thursday, July 25, its patron saint festivities in honor of Santiago Apostle.
The events begin at 7:30 in the afternoon with the mass and floral offering to the patron in his day, which will be followed by the procession with the saint through various places of the district.
Already at night, after 10, there will be a trovera night with Pedro Cardoso I, Cardoso II, Antonio 'El Andaluz', 'El Niño de Archena' and guitarist Tomás García.
On Friday, July 26, scheduled activities will begin at 9 pm with a Marro launch championship.
An hour and a half later, it will be the turn of the dance schools 'De Rosa' and 'Juan Antonio Iglesias'.
The day will end at midnight with a contest of ruffle crumbs for which the festival commission will distribute flour, oil and wine among the participants.
On Saturday, July 27, the events will begin with a children's foam party starting at 8 pm and a futsal championship between pastraneros.
At 10:30 at night, flamenco and rumba will be the protagonists with the performance of the group 'Al relente', which will be followed by more parties and music from several local DJs.
The festivities will end on Sunday July 28 with a day full of activities that will begin at 11 am with a concentration of classic motorcycles.
At 2 pm there will be giant paella for all attendees and at 4 there will be a musical bingo with important prizes.
At 7:30 a mass will be held in honor of Santiago Apóstol, which will be followed by motorcycle racing.
On Sunday night, starting at 10:30, the performance of copla singer Maribel Castillo is scheduled.
Throughout this evening we will proceed to the election of Miss and Mister Visitors and the awards ceremony of the different competitions and championships, which will end these traditional celebrations.
