The Association of Merchants of Mazarrón and Comarca (ACOMA) yesterday presented a mobile application to bring local commerce to neighbors and tourists.
The presentation was given by the president of ACOMA, Lali Sánchez, the vice president of the association, Paqui Madrid, and Leonor Mota member of the board of directors;
who were accompanied by the mayor of Mazarrón, Gaspar Miras, the Councilor for Commerce and Consumption, Silvia García, and the councilors of the Government team Tomás Ureña, Raquel Raja and Francisco José García.
The president of ACOMA detailed the uses of the new application "that has a simple display and operation from the mobile or tablet. This is intended to offer a useful information tool to all local and visiting public of our municipality", said Lali Sánchez, who added that "the application offers a directory with all the services of all the associated shops, with photos, promotions offers. And, shortly, it will accommodate restaurants and services throughout the municipality with the possibility besides being able to interact with corporate social networks. "
Another function will be that ACOMA will announce through this app its calendar of annual initiatives.
Silvia García congratulated ACOMA "for this new initiative that I hope will be very successful because, today, new technologies are available to everyone, helping quickly and easily to access all associated businesses and providing a service to citizens of the municipality as well as tourists and visitors. "
The councilwoman reiterated the commitment of the City Council with ACOMA "supporting all the initiatives they have planned" and took the opportunity to inform that "among them, the association's outlet fair will be held on August 9, 10 and 11 at Plaza Toneleros ".
The mayor of Mazarrón, Gaspar Miras, praised "the work of ACOMA during all these years to which is added one more initiative for the promotion and development of local commerce."
The first mayor also called to join forces and give a definitive push to the municipal businesses ensuring that "from the City Council you will have our maximum support to promote awareness campaigns, not only among consumers, but also to promote associations and thus become stronger and endure over time. "
