The village of Ifre-Pastrana closed last night its management holidays in honor of Santiago Apóstol with a rain of awards that were delivered by the Councilor of Festejos, Miguel Ángel Peña, and the Councilor for Personnel, Plácida Gómez.
In addition, during the evening the election of Miss and Mister Visitors proceeded, honor that fell to Marie Acosta and Johann Acosta.
From July 25 to 28, Pastrana has lived intense celebrations in which fun and conviviality have been the guideline that has set these days.
A giant paella shared by the neighbors, the traditional contest of crumbs rulers, the launching championship of Marro or a children's foam party have been some of the activities that have been enjoyed by neighbors and visitors.
But without a doubt, Pastrana lived a special day on July 25 when the employer was honored with a mass that was celebrated in the hermitage of the aforementioned district and which was followed by a procession with Santiago Apostle by some of the beautiful places of the place .
A procession that made its traditional stop for the neighbors to share some delicious food around the saint among which the traditional donuts were not lacking.
The Mass and procession was attended by the mayor of Mazarrón, Gaspar Miras, the councilor of Festejos, Miguel Ángel Peña, who were accompanied by the councilors of the Government team Plácida Gómez, José María Moreno, Raquel Raja and Francisco José García;
as well as other members of the municipal corporation who did not want to miss this appointment with the tradition and ingrained customs of this district.
