During the plenary held yesterday at Town Hall, three councilors of the government team reported to the municipal corporation the actions they have carried out in their departments after taking office.
The first of these was the Councilor for Services, Transportation and Contracting, Tomás Ureña, who focused his intervention in the Services area.
Ureña detailed more than thirty actions that have been carried out in just over two weeks of mandate at the head of said department.
The adaptation of a ramp with non-slip in the Plaza del Romeral as well as other ramps in various parts of the municipality - for example in San Antonio Street-, the arrangement of several sewer covers, the clearing and adaptation of the road to the cemetery of Mazarrón as well as several streets of Bahia, lighting repair in various parts of Mazarrón, Puerto and districts;
the cleaning of adequacy of places such as Salitre and gardens such as Isaac Peral where two banks that had been taken, or the repair of various sidewalks were some of the actions exposed by the councilman.
Special attention deserves the speed with which the problem of a landslide on the sidewalk in the Constitution Avenue of Mazarrón in front of the CIME was treated to prevent anyone from being damaged and that has an emergency repair while it is processed through the Department of Urban Planning and Infrastructure the repair project, as revealed by its owner Ginés Campillo.
Also noteworthy is the cleaning of lots that are being carried out among which the plot located in phase III of Bahia stands out next to the industrial area of La Charca.
A vindication of years by the neighbors who have finally been given a solution.
It is also acting, because it is another constant claim of the neighbors, in the lots of the urbanization La Cumbre and in those of the Juncal area, where Tomás Ureña has already planned another series of actions for the coming weeks.
The districts are also being serviced again after months of forgetting.
The repair of a pipe in the Watchtower, repair of a road in Cañada de Gallego, repair of street lamps in this same district, the cleaning of waste on the road to Las Balsicas or the improvement in the signaling of a road in Camposol are good examples of it.
The mayor of Mazarrón, Gaspar Miras, as well as other members of the corporation, wanted to congratulate Tomás Ureña for "his diligent and effective work at the head of the Department of Services" and reminded citizens that "they can send us their requests and needs in regard to this area through the Green Line application available to the City Council to be able to solve all demands in the average time and manner possible.
