A total of 35 players gathered on Saturday, August 24 at the municipal sports hall of 'La Aceña' within the IV Table Tennis Concentration 'Playas de Mazarrón'.
An appointment that each year adds a greater number of participants and that this year obtained its record number.
Among the assistant players, the largest number came from different points in the Region of Murcia, followed by those in the Valencian Community, Madrid, Castilla La Mancha and France.
Throughout the session, technical-tactical preparation, physical preparation and competition exercises were performed.
Thus, during the morning the physical preparation and the technical-tactical work was carried out and, in the afternoon, a competition was held among the attendees.
In this way, players could enjoy more than four hours of activities focused on preparing the competition for the next season 19/20.
The physical preparation was directed by Domingo Díaz Blázquez, a graduate in Physical Activity Sciences and a Master in Sports Performance and Health.
As sparrings attended Raúl Moreno Merín, champion of Youth Spain by teams with ASSSA Alicante;
and Francisco Almagro Gómez, First National Men's Player.
As coach and coordinator of the activity was Higinio González García, a graduate in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences and a university professor of Sports Sciences.
The Councilors of Personnel and Tourism, Plácida Gómez and Raquel Raja respectively, were responsible for delivering the trophies and diplomas to the winners of each of the competitions held.
