Puerto de Mazarrón lived on Friday a magical encounter with poetry thanks to the celebration of a new appointment with the activity 'Mares de Papel' organized by the Department of Archive and Libraries.
The first Deputy Mayor and Councilor for Culture, Ginés Campillo, the Councilor for Archives and Libraries, Conchi Aparicio, and the Councilor for Services, Tomás Ureña, were present covering the participants of this edition.
In it Manuel Iglesias, María Dolores Rodriguez, Gonzalo Melgar del Corral, Carmen Laseca and members of the theater group 'Candilejas' took part, who delighted those present with their performances.
Dozens of people came to the appointment, taking care of all the chairs arranged for it and that were a hundred.
As a snap to the poetic night, those responsible for 'Mares de Papel' called 'Emergency Poetry' on the phone, something that surprised many of those present.
This service, whatever the time, answers the call of the interested person by reciting a poem.
The phone number to call to hear some of the poetry is 659 86 10 32.
The activity was carried out in an incomparable setting, such as the 'Agustín López Cano' viewpoint, which was able to host the cultural event smoothly thanks to the work of the municipal operators, with the mayor Tomás Ureña in front, who repaired the damage in record time that some vandals had caused a couple of days before in the place.
