The departments of Tourism, Sports, Celebrations and Commerce have scheduled for this weekend different leisure and sports activities coinciding with the celebration of the Copa del Rey de Motos Nauticas y FlySki.

The first of the appointments will begin this Friday at 7 pm with the inauguration of a marine market that will be installed on the promenade of La Sal de Puerto de Mazarrón and which can be enjoyed during Saturday and Sunday

Also, both Saturday and Sunday from 11 to 13 hours, children can have fun with a series of children's and inflatable activities that will be installed in the Plaza of the Autonomous Communities of the 'Francisco Martínez Muñoz' walk of the Port, while At the same time and on those same days, the young people and all those who wish may practice zumba at the entrance to the mentioned walk.

A concentration of classic vehicles, which will also take place on the waterfront on Sunday 6 from 9 to 13 hours, will complete this programming.

The mayor of Mazarrón, Gaspar Miras, commented that "these activities, which come to complement the celebration of the Cup of the King of Nautical Motorcycles and FlySki, are intended to boost the offer for tourists who take their vacations somewhat later and who are enjoying our beaches that maintain optimum water quality and temperature for the bathroom. "

In this way "we extend the summer season in this task that we have to undertake to seasonally adjust tourism," said the mayor.

Miras added that "it is not only a leisure offer, but also a cultural one with the exhibition that opens on Friday afternoon at Consistorial Houses of Marcos Amorós, and even environmental with one of the seabed cleaning scheduled for October which is full of events that will take place on weekends, "said the mayor.

The seabed cleaning scheduled for this Saturday October 5 has been organized by the company 'Diving Hispania' and has the collaboration of the City Council of Mazarrón, the Fishing Club of Puerto de Mazarrón, as well as other companies such as Hortisa, Hotel Playasol and the intentional dive brand 'Mares'.

The event, which is now in its XXV edition, is sponsored by the actress and monologuist Sara Escudero and will have, in addition to the traditional cleaning, a gala dinner where diving material is distributed.
