In the paintings of this exhibition, the woman is the protagonist.
She becomes a transcendent part of the paintings in which she reflects on herself as an individual, but also as a woman and her role in the world, defined as a place of conflict.
A role with which Marcos Amorós wants to give women the presence and space they demand today.
Marcos Amorós is a multifaceted artist.
Muralist painter, illustrator and musician, with more than twenty individual exhibitions and about thirty groups, has made several murals for churches, has been a teacher for six years of drawing and painting at the Royal Economic Society of Friends of the Country of Cartagena , where is he from.
Amorós is an artist with great ease for drawing and the human figure is his greatest achievement, he manages to capture both the inner and outer beauty, of bold brushwork with orientation and homogeneous, subtle and simple, thus denoting his great capacity for art.
A skill that can be seen in this exhibition.
