The XXV Cleaning of Seabed of the Bay of Mazarrón, and V International Cleaning, has been developed with great success during this day in which 1500 Kilos of garbage have been collected, both from the bottom of the sea and from the beaches of Covaticas in Cañada de Gallego and El Rincón in Bolnuevo.
More than 250 participants, including divers and volunteers, have gathered in this activity.
The mayor of Mazarrón, Gaspar Miras, and the first deputy mayor, Ginés Campillo, have welcomed the participants accompanied by the president of the Federation of Underwater Activities of the Region of Murcia (FASRM), Jesús Cano, and the director of Southeast Diving Center 'Bachisub', Alfonso G. Bachiller, who organize the activity next to the City Council of Mazarrón.

The director of 'Bachisub' has also thanked the support of the Marina, Fishermen's Association of Puerto de Mazarrón, Club de Regatas de Mazarrón and the Reina Sofía Foundation, which joins the initiative for the first time.
