The City Council of Mazarrón is contemplating the possibility of participating in the VIII edition of the Murcia Gastronomic Fair with its own stand in which catering and hospitality establishments of the municipality would be accommodated.

For the project to become a reality, it is necessary to have several of these establishments that would offer their culinary creations to those attending this fair that every year attracts more foodies.

Those restaurateurs and hoteliers who are attracted to the idea, can send their application for membership to the project by sending an email that includes the name of the establishment, name and surname of the owner or person in charge and a contact telephone number to the address gabinete@mazarron.es before Monday, October 21 at 2:00 p.m.

Participants may announce 3 proposals in the form of a cover that will be sold at the price of 2 euros, obtaining the establishment 50% of the proceeds.

The amount of the stand would be entirely borne by the City Council, which, in addition to promoting local cuisine among attendees (about 30,000 in the last edition) betting on the catering and hospitality establishments of the municipality, would also carry out a focused tourism promotion especially to the diffusion of the Fiestas del Milagro and Fiestas Patronales.

The congressMurcia Gastronómica 2019 will start on Friday, November 8, the annex building of the Víctor Villegas Auditorium in Murcia and will last until Monday, the 11th. In total, four days dedicated to pampering, tasting, bringing and getting to know the work of the great chefs of the Region and of the entire national territory;

the qualities of Murcian cuisine and the most innovative culinary trends of the Spanish stoves.

After the success of last year, the congress will again have an outdoor space on the 0 floor that is added to the great gastronomic offer and that includes: area of ​​embers, cocktails, beer, wine, etc ... Where to enjoy a creative and dynamic space and where to live first-hand a culinary, wine and beer experience.
